Eurovoc is a multilingual thesaurus of the European Parliament containing slightly less than 7000 descriptors referring to the activities of EU and its Member States. It also provides a means of indexing documents in the Celex database. The Government's EU portal code list is also created on the basis of Eurovoc. The Eurovoc thesaurus is available on EU web pages in all official languages of the European Union. On the web page of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, it is available in the Slovenian language. The Slovenian version of descriptors was prepared in cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, the Government Office for European Affairs, and the Government Office for Legislation. The National Assembly holds a licence for the use of Eurovoc thesaurus for the entire public administration in the Republic of Slovenia.
